What is Magnelis®?

Magnelis® is carbon steel coated on both sides with a zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloy, providing optimal protection for your pool structure. The panels are produced from a standard steel line and then dipped in a metal solution composed of 93.5% zinc, 3.5% aluminium, and 3% magnesium.
The 3% magnesium is crucial, as it forms a stable and durable layer across the entire metal surface, offering greater corrosion resistance at the same thickness compared to other protective coatings (such as Aluzinc or traditional hot-dip galvanizing), as illustrated in the “Corrosion Resistance” graph below.
